Sports day is celebrated at the State Council of Educational Research and Trainings SCERT J&K Divisional Office Kashmir. India celebrated National Sports Day on 29th August 2022 to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand. Veteran Sports Personality of UT J&K, and former Director Radio Kashmir Srinagar Himayou Kasir Sir was the Chief guest of the program.

My close friend and colleague Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Wani, who is like an elder brother and whom I always respect with the core of my heart has been promoted to the post of Principal. Today Manzoor Sir assumed the charge as Principal Govt. Higher Secondary School Hariganwan District Gandarbal Kashmir. With him, the SCERT team escorted him to HSS Hariganwan where He was warmly welcomed by the staff members of the Institution.

A six-member team from SCERT J&K UT participated in this program, three from divisional office Kashmir namely Mr. Reyaz Ahmad Dar Sr. Academic Officer, Mr. Basharat Saleem Mir, and Mr. Ishfaq Anjum Samoon, and three from divisional Office Jammu namely Mr. Rohit Sharma, Mr. Puneet Thukral and Dr. Balkar Singh. The program lasted for three days in which channel coordinators / subject matter experts /Technical experts were briefed by experts from the Central Institute of Technology (CIT-Delhi) and experts from the National Council of Research and Trainings NCERT New Delhi and experts from BISAGS Gujarat. Experts highlighted the importance of quality content creation, and how to create educational lecture videos and upload them on e- VIDYA DTH Channel. Detailed explanation was given by experts on how to create e-content like script writing, content creation in different languages and upload on the e-Vidya channel. Dr. Yash Paul Sharma Program coordinator from NCERT New Delhi in his presentation explained the instructional system design. He explained, how to design, develop and deliver course content. He also explained how to use various topics and create video lectures for students of all classes. He highlighted the complete mechanism by which e-content can be created and uploaded on the e-Vidya channel.

Presentation regarding interventions and working of Art and Vocational Education department given to Med, Bed Scholars at Conference Hall State Council of Educational Research and Trainings SCERT- Kashmir.
