  CHEYE-(tsei) - Roof of Paddy Grass

                       The Roof of Paddy Grass popularly known in Kashmir “CHEYE” (tsei), was common in Kashmir in recent past. Small clumps of grass were placed on the roof of the houses to cover the roof completely. It provides complete protection from rain and snow.
